Overview

Solvegy is looking for an experienced technology consultant to join our firm as a manager. This manager will play a key role in shaping the future of Solvegy through defining processes, assisting in the recruiting / interviewing process, and building trust with our clients by delivering exceptional work.

Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of technology consulting, professional services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience
  2. Experience mentoring junior employees through providing feedback, providing coaching, and helping others reach their full potential
  3. Experience leading small teams with direct supervisory responsibility for reviews, coaching, and providing feedback to project team members
  4. Hands on experience with software development at an enterprise level
  5. Familiarity with object oriented development practices and data warehouse concepts
  6. Experience managing projects with both agile and traditional waterfall methodologies through all phases of the project (concept, requirements, design, build, test, deploy)
  7. Ability to architect technology solutions from the ground up to improve business operating efficiency, improve customer experience, or grow top line revenue
  8. Program and/or project management experience on technology efforts managing schedules, risks, issues, action items
  9. Ability to translate complex technical concepts for business minded executives through both written and verbal communications to drive critical decisions
  10. Ability to develop deep trusting relationships with new colleagues, clients, and prospects and participate in business development efforts
  11. Hands on experience with at least 2 of the following technologies:
  1. Custom Development
  1. Java
  2. .NET
  3. Ruby on Rails
  4. LAMP Stack
  1. Cloud technologies (Azure, Amazon Web Services)
  2. Data technologies
  1. Microsoft SSIS
  2. QlikView
  3. SQL Server
  1. Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or comparable major
  2. Legally authorized to work in the US for any company without sponsorship
